Yoho National Park<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">This walk-in campground features spectacular panoramic vistas amid the splendor & roar of Takakkaw Falls. It is the gateway to the Little Yoho Valley & is the main trailhead for Laughing Falls, Twin Falls, Ice Line, Whaleback & Yoho Glacier Trails. It offers a unique sub-alpine wilderness experience, yet is easily accessible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">This campground operates from June to October on a first-come, first served policy.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A National Parks pass is required.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>What to See and Do:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><b>Summer:<\/b> Hiking, backpacking, camping, sightseeing, picnicking, rafting, paddling, cycling, climbing, fishing. Wildlife viewing \u2013 black bears, elk, deer, moose, mountain goats, pikas, coyotes, wolves, owls, snowshoe hares, marmots, ground squirrels, summer birds including bald and golden eagles, songbirds, ducks, geese and hawks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Fall:<\/strong> Late season hiking and backpacking until early October, larch viewing\/hiking at Lake O\u2019Hara, sightseeing and nature walks at low elevations. Wildlife viewing \u2013 black and grizzly bears, elk (in rut), deer, moose, coyotes, wolves, owls, snowshoe hares, migratory birds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Winter:<\/strong> Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sightseeing, ice climbing. Wildlife viewing \u2013 elk, deer, moose, coyotes, chickadees, dippers, grosbeaks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Spring:<\/strong> Late season ski touring and snowshoeing, sightseeing, bird watching, nature walks at low elevations and in the western part of the park.
